About the Role:
The purpose of this position is to glue foam to seat bases and upholstery fabric covers for commercial office furniture.
This role involves both gluing and upholstery tasks to ensure the production of top-notch office chairs and lounge furniture.
Responsibilities:
* Cutting: Cut fabrics using an automated cutting machine.
* Gluing: Utilising water-based glues, glue precut foams to seat bases and backs.
* Upholstery: Fit and finish pre-sewn covers to a range of office chairs and lounge furniture.
* Production Plan: Follow the pre-determined production plan to ensure products are completed within the required time frame.
* Health & Safety: Adhere to safe work practices, instructions, and rules.
Skills and Experiences:
About You:
* Prior experience in upholstery or assembly work is preferred.
* Ability to follow production plans and meet deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and quality.
* Commitment to health and safety practices.
* Team player with good communication skills.
