Employing 5,000 staff, we create life-changing opportunities for students to learn by delivering an extensive range of educational services to over 60,000 aspirational students across our global network each year.Job DescriptionWLA is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth, expand our market reach, and build strong long-term partnerships with Corporate and Government clients.Join a progressive organisationAttractive salary plus uncapped commissionHybrid working in Syd or Melb locationKey Responsibilities:Identify and pursue new B2B and B2G sales opportunities through research, outreach, and networking.Conduct in-depth discussions with prospective clients to understand their business challenges and position WLA’s solutions effectively.Develop and maintain long-term partnerships, providing tailored business solutions.Lead strategic sales initiatives, manage pipelines using Salesforce CRM, and exceed KPIs.Represent WLA at industry and networking events, enhancing market presence and brand credibility.Collaborate internally to refine sales strategies and drive operational excellence.This role may require travelling within AustraliaQualificationsDemonstrated experience in building business value through business development activities with 5+ years sales/business development experience at a senior level, ideally in a services sector (e.g. education, professional services, or consultancy).Strong communication, presentation, public speaking and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of modern business practices, including ability to develop new and innovative opportunities for growth and improvementProficiency in MS office and SalesforceKnowledge of corporate training environment and competitor landscape is an advantageAdditional InformationWhat we can offerCompetitive base salary plus uncapped commission, rewarding success in business development and sales performanceWe offer careers across our global operationsWe recognise and reward.We understand the importance of showing appreciation.We care for you.
