Role Overview
This is a challenging and rewarding role for an Affiliated Health Worker who is passionate about improving the health outcomes of children in rural communities.
The successful candidate will be working within the Hearing Health Program, which aims to assess primary aged children for Otitis Media and educate students and parents on the impact of hearing issues in children.

Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Providing hearing screening services for children from Prep to Grade four in North West Queensland region
* Educating students and parents on the impact of hearing issues in children
* Working collaboratively with the team to develop and implement strategies to improve hearing health outcomes

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Essential Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background
* Certificate IV in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care
* Relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences
* C Class Motor Vehicle Licence
* Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
