We are looking for a skilled and reliable Carpenter / Leading Hand who can confidently undertake a wide range of carpentry duties while providing on-site leadership and direction. The successful candidate will oversee formwork activities, ensure safe and compliant work practices, and contribute to delivering high‑quality outcomes for our clients.

Task & Responsibilities
* Carry out carpentry works including formwork construction, installation, and dismantling for concrete structures.
* Read, interpret, and work from technical drawings, plans, and site specifications.
* Lead and supervise small site teams to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to required standards.
* Coordinate daily activities, allocate tasks, and provide hands‑on support across all carpentry operations.
* Inspect and ensure the accuracy and quality of completed work.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and site workspaces in accordance with WHS requirements.
* Collaborate with site supervisors, steel fixers, and contractors to ensure workflow continuity and project deadlines are met.
* Identify and mitigate site‑based risks, ensuring full compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
Qualification & Experience
* Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent qualification).
* Proven experience in formwork, structural carpentry, and/or civil construction carpentry.
* Previous leading hand or team‑lead experience highly regarded.
* Strong understanding of WHS requirements and safe work practices.
* Ability to interpret construction drawings and plan work effectively.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
* White Card (Construction Induction).
* Current driver's licence.
