Responsibilities: Lead and manage the construction and fit-out phases of data centre projects on behalf of the client Act as the primary client representative for all construction-related matters Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to project teams, consultants, and contractors Manage stakeholder relationships across architects, engineers, contractors, authorities, and internal teams Develop, manage, and control project scope documentation and detailed construction programmes Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate construction, programme, and delivery risks Maintain strict control of project budgets, cost reporting, and expenditure tracking Administer construction and fit-out contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations Implement and oversee QA/QC systems to ensure compliance with data centre standards and best practices Deliver clear, accurate, and regular reporting on progress, risks, cost, and programme Support the Project Director to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards Job Requirements 5–10 years’ experience delivering large-scale Greenfield and/or Brownfield projects within data centres or similarly highly serviced environments Strong end-to-end project lifecycle experience across design, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover Broad technical understanding of electrical, mechanical, fire, and monitoring systems within complex buildings Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying or Trade qualification with significant management experience, supported by a diploma or graduate qualification Professional or institutional accreditation desirable (e.g. CPEng, MIEAust, AIPM RegPM, RICS, PMI-PMP or equivalent) Proven ability to work autonomously while exercising sound judgement and professional accountability Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Demonstrated capability in programme planning, cost control, contract administration, and risk management
