This is big league civil with real commercial influence on projects that shape NSW where you will be in the thick of Renewable Energy Zones rolling out in the Central West, Battery Energy Storage Systems connecting into the grid, major road and bridge upgrades that keep freight moving, water and wastewater upgrades that communities rely on, substations, wind and solar farm civil packages, and bulk earthworks tied to energy and transport corridors.
YOUR NEW JOB
You will work across some of NSW's largest civil projects, with travel depending on where delivery is live. One stage might see you supporting a BESS development in the Central West, the next embedded in renewable energy works in regional NSW, or contributing to major transport or utilities upgrades. Every project carries commercial weight and visibility.
As Contracts Administrator, you will sit at the centre of the project team, partnering closely with Project Managers and Engineers to drive commercial outcomes. You will manage subcontract packages from procurement through to final account, oversee cost control and forecasting, administer progress claims and payment schedules, assess and negotiate variations, identify and mitigate risk, and support commercial strategy across integrated civil and electrical scopes.
YOUR NEW EMPLOYER
You will be joining a diversified civil contractor with financial strength and a secured pipeline across infrastructure and renewables. This is not a business scrambling from project to project. They are scaling with intent, investing in capability and securing meaningful work in Renewable Energy Zones across NSW.
There is structure, depth and backing behind you. Strong leadership, in house civil and electrical capability, and the systems of a tier one contractor without the red tape. You will report to an experienced senior leader, have autonomy to run your packages properly, and know there is real support when you need it.
ABOUT YOU
This role suits someone who wants flagship infrastructure on their CV and is focused on increasing long term market value while contributing to projects that genuinely matter to the state.
Commercially sharp, comfortable operating in $15m to $50m civil environments, and capable of protecting margin without damaging relationships. Solid exposure to bulk earthworks, utilities, structures or energy infrastructure is essential, along with the confidence to perform in high compliance, high accountability project settings.
