About the role
We are currently looking for a full-time HC Truck Driver to join the Jeffries team, based at Buckland Park.
Start time is 5.45am.
As a HC Truck Driver at Jeffries, you will be responsible for the safe and accurate delivery of our compost, soil, and mulch products using HC combination vehicles. Delivery locations include reseller yards, vineyards, and commercial trade sites.
This role requires confident driving skills and a strong safety mindset. Experience with reversing, coupling and uncoupling trailers is highly advantageous. Familiarity with fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements is also valued and will support your success in the role.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate HC tipper vehicles to deliver bulk products to a wide range of Jeffries customers
* Support logistics operations, including product transportation and yard activities as required
* Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
* Maintain accurate delivery records and complete all required customer documentation
* Some weekend and public holiday work may be required
* Daily overtime may be required depending on delivery schedule and operational needs
What You'll Bring
* A current Heavy Combination (HC) licence
* Experience operating truck and trailer combinations (advantageous)
