We're Surface Rescue – we specialise in exterior cleaning, epoxy flooring and concrete resurfacing that genuinely changes how properties look and feel.
Right now, the landscape is wide open: most providers in this space are small, fragmented operators with average communication, slow follow-up and hit-and-miss quality. Larger brands, builders and property groups are screaming out for reliable partners who turn up, do what they say, and make them look good.
We're ready to be that partner. We just need a hungry BDM in Adelaide to open the doors and lock in the relationships.
You'll get a strong base, proper commissions, a budget to take clients out – and a clear path into a bigger role as we scale nationally.
The Deal
This isn't "70k base and hope your commissions work out". We're backing the right person properly.
* Base salary: $110,000 + super
* OTE:
* Around $160k total package when you're bringing in roughly $2M/year in B2B revenue
* Around $200k+ total package when you're bringing in roughly $3.2M/year
* Uncapped commissions if you want to push beyond that — your earnings move with the revenue you generate
* KPI bonuses in your first 6 months to support you while you're building pipeline
* Client hospitality & networking budget – coffees, lunches, events, golf days etc. to actually win and keep key accounts (on us, not you)
* $2,500 sign-on bonus after 6 months (once we both know it's a great fit)
* $5,000 annual training & development fund for courses, conferences, coaching – anything that makes you sharper
* Company car, fuel card, phone & laptop included
Full-time role based in Adelaide.

Who This Is For
This is not for someone who wants to sit on inbound leads and "check in with the pipeline" once a week.
This is for someone who:
* Has real sales experience (BDM, account manager, field sales, etc.)
* Is comfortable cold calling, door knocking and following up without being babysat
* Wants to build something – not just inherit a warm portfolio and collect a wage
* Is aiming for $150k–$200k+ and knows that comes from performance, not vibes
Maybe you've:
* Sold B2B in trades, construction, real estate, facilities, or home improvement
* Worked with builders, property managers, strata, commercial clients
* Been stuck in a slow-moving corporate where your ideas went to die in your managers inbox.

What You'll Be Doing
This is a hybrid role — part office, part home, part on the road.
You'll be building our B2B book of business across:
* Builders & construction companies
* Real estate agents & property managers
* Strata / body corporate
* Commercial & industrial clients
Your week will look like:
* Cold calling businesses, councils and property managers
* Booking face to face meetings to build rapport
* Quoting work using our proven 3-tier restoration and coating systems
* Following up fast and closing
* Turning one-off jobs into ongoing relationships and repeat work
* Attending networking events and industry functions to build visibility and open doors
* Logging activity & pipeline properly so we both know what's coming
Your time is spent in conversations, not buried in admin.
What You're Walking Into
This isn't a comfy "here's 100 existing accounts, don't stuff it up" role.
You're stepping into a market where:
* Most competitors are small, fragmented operators
* Average communication and slow quoting is sadly normal
* Very few players can reliably service larger brands, builders, PM groups or national networks
You'll be:
* Starting with some existing relationships & brand presence
* Largely building the B2B side from scratch
* Backed by:
* A strong track record in Adelaide
* Quality work that actually delivers
* Social proof (photos, reviews, case studies) and a solid operations team
We know B2B relationships take time — that's why we've built in KPI bonuses in your first 6 months while the pipeline is warming up.
Where It Leads
We're planning to scale Surface Rescue across Australia (Spring 2026)
If you deliver, this role can grow into:
* SA Sales Manager / State BDM Lead, leading a team and owning the state
* Potential national role as we expand into new markets (Sales Manager / BDM Lead / similar)
You're not fighting for scraps. You're helping build the table.
What You Need
Non-negotiables:
* Proven sales experience (we're not teaching you how to sell from scratch)
* Confidence on the phone & in person
* Willingness to prospect, follow up and close
* Hunger for progress, not just paying the bills
Big plus if you:
* Have sold B2B before
* Have done door knocking / outbound field sales
* Have contacts or experience in trades, construction, real estate, facilities, or similar
* Already have a network in building or property in Adelaide
We care less about a perfectly polished CV and more about grit + consistency + results.
