**ABOUT THE DIVISION AND BRANCH**
The Shared Services Division is a provider of corporate shared services, providing transactional and technical Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) services to 16 Australian Government client agencies through the Service Delivery Office (SDO) under cost recovered administrative arrangements. The SDO also supports the delivery of the Parliamentary Expense Management System (PEMS). In addition to our service delivery and ICT functions, the Division is responsible for Australian Government corporate shared services policy and implementation of the APS ERP approach.
**ABOUT THE** OPPORTUNITY**
The Division is seeking a strong, transformation leader with extensive experience in delivering strategic ICT and program management services. The Assistant Secretary Digital Services will be instrumental in shaping the successful execution of the SDO's work program, which focuses on transforming and optimising service delivery functions across the organisation to adapt to the changing nature of shared services as entities determine their future transactional processing and ERP services. This position plays a critical role in marshalling multidisciplinary technical and product teams; aligning multiple projects within a broader program strategy, ensuring that initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. The role will lead the transformation program that will support Finance determine its own future ERP and corporate service delivery functions in collaboration with Corporate and ICT Divisions.

- Successful applicants will be required to undergo the process to obtain and maintain, or continue to hold the required security clearance level for the role as indicated in the downloadable job pack. All Finance staff are required to have a minimum baseline security clearance prior to commencement.
- Where a non-ongoing position is offered, the role will be filled for a specified term of 6-8 months. Specified term vacancies may be extended up to a maximum period of 18 months.
