We are seeking a veterinary receptionist to provide exceptional customer service and support our team in Alice Springs.
About the Role
1. Manage incoming calls and client interactions efficiently
2. Assist with patient admissions and provide accurate information
3. Book appointments and manage practice software with precision
4. Process payments and balance tills daily
5. Sell products and educate clients on animal health
6. Manage stock levels and place orders as needed
7. Enter data and perform administrative tasks with attention to detail
8. Send reminders and correspondence to clients
9. Maintain cleanliness of front and consultation areas
10. Support administrative functions and contribute to team efficiency
11. Answer email and phone inquiries promptly
12. Coordinate courier services for the clinic
13. Assist with account enquiries and resolve issues
14. Collaborate with veterinary and nursing teams for workflow optimization
The ideal candidate should have:
* 2-3 years' experience in a similar role and a genuine passion for pet care
* Able to work well in a team and independently
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Capacity to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and pay attention to detail
* Willingness to learn about animal health products
