Driving Instructor Position
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with young people and help them gain their driver's licence.
About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated Driving Instructor to join our team. As a Driving Instructor, you will be responsible for coaching and mentoring young people as they learn to drive.
This role involves:
* Coaching and mentoring young people through their driving lessons, boosting their confidence and resilience.
* Liaising with transport authorities, local instructors, and volunteers to keep the program running smoothly.
* Managing lesson bookings, schedules, and ensuring participants stay motivated and progressing.
* Recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers who help young people achieve their logbook hours.
* Building strong relationships with community groups, schools, and local stakeholders.
* Engaging with young people one-on-one and in group settings, building trust and connection.
* Meeting program goals and reporting on outcomes that highlight real change.
Your Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A genuine passion for working with young people.
* Energy, patience, and encouragement in every interaction.
* Organisation and confidence in managing logistics and relationships.
* Knowledge of WA transport Driver's Licence processes (training will be given).
* A current Drivers' licence (held for minimum 4 years - includes provisional time served).
* A current Working with children check.
* A current First Aid Certificate (able to obtain within first three months).
* Mental Health First Aid Certificate (desirable).
* A willingness to undergo a National Police Check.
