Receptionist (Casual)
For over 150 years, our schools, colleges, early learning centres and out of school care programs have been an integral part of education in Western Australia. The Role
The role of Receptionist (Casual) belongs to the Governance team in the Office of the Executive Director. We have 5 office campuses across the state and this role will be based at our West Leederville Office.
This is a casual position.
Catholic Education Western Australia operates a two‐shift structure across each work‐day (Monday to Friday).
As a Receptionist you will be responsible for providing high quality customer service in all Reception responsibilities, including receiving guests to the Catholic Education office, handling phone enquiries, assisting with chapel and meeting room bookings, and providing general administration support to the Governance Team.
Primary Accountabilities
* Greeting and assisting visitors in a warm and professional manner to the Catholic Education Office (Leederville).
* Managing incoming phone calls with a high level of professional etiquette.
* Proficiently screening all calls to relevant CEO personnel.
* Sorting, distributing and responding to reception emails.
* Recording accurate details of all deliveries including support of the mail register.
* Sorting and distributing deliveries to CEO staff.
* Assisting with the management of chapel bookings and fees, and broader venue bookings.
* Managing meeting room and CEO fleet car bookings.
* Ordering general office stationery supplies and coordinating collateral materials.
* Maintaining a professional presentation of the reception area and meeting rooms.
* Providing general administrative support to the Governance Team.

Selection Criteria
* Commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
* Strong degree of professionalism with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Demonstrated commitment for delivering exceptional customer service and be prepared to go the extra mile.
* High level of computer literacy particularly in the use of Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to develop new skills in the use of other computer systems.
* Demonstrate strong attention to detail, use initiative and a proven capacity to organise and prioritise workloads.
* Three years or more experience in a reception/office environment/administrative support and dealing with a high volume of calls.
