Job Description
We are currently hiring for a part-time Receptionist (job share role 3 days per week) in our Newcastle Clinic.
This role will see you as the first point of contact for patients & visitors to the clinic, as well as fielding a high volume of calls. It is a very busy role with lots of variety and your typical day will include;
* Meeting and greeting patients and visitors
* Managing and directing a high volume of calls
* Feedback management and triaging inquiries
* Liaising with Doctors, key Nursing and Patient Support staff
* Assisting with general administration
Qualifications
What do you need to succeed?
* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
* Outstanding customer service skills which you have gained through some kind of reception/admin/customer service role
* Common sense and the ability to remain calm in heightened situations
* Warm and friendly nature
* Strong computer literacy and IT skills
* High attention to detail
* Full working rights in Australia
What should you enjoy?
* Being the face of the business on our front desk.
* Providing exceptional patient care whether it’s in person, via email or our busy switchboard
