LGWR is a family owned land clearing, mulching and mining contractor with operations across the NT
We are a team of 40 employees and one of our current key projects involves delivering transport, earthworks and land clearing/mulching services on a mine site
Our site based workshop needs several diesel mechanics to support our growing operation
About the Role
Carry out scheduled maintenance and repairs/breakdowns on a range of heavy machinery, trucks/trailers and light vehicles
Troubleshoot and fault find in the field with supplied work ute and/or Service Truck
Communicate with Workshop Supervisor and Administration team to order parts and arrange delivery based on priority (air freight, barge, etc)
Maintain thorough service history and records, including upload to digital platform/s
Work closely with a team of 6 others to ensure fleet availability and performance
About You
Automotive Air Conditioning Licence
Experience with heavy machinery and prime movers/trailers including Kenworth, CAT, Volvo, Peterson and Hammel
HR licence or ability to obtain (highly regarded)
About the Offer
Immediate start
1:1, 2:1 or other lifestyle roster. 12 hour shifts with meals and accommodation supplied
FIFO from Darwin, Brisbane or Cairns. Other locations available for the right candidate
Permanent or casual employment with competitive rates/conditions. Fortnightly pay
Work ute supplied along with phone/tool allowance
