**JOB TITLE** Operations Manager

**Purpose of role**As an Operations manager you will oversee current and future operations to ensure excellent programs for our clients. You will oversee all logístical, staffing, and catering operations working closely with the Logistics Manager and Program Coordinators.

As an operations manager you will supervise, oversee staffing and train employees, manage quality assurance on programs, managing allocations for all assigned programs and implementing continuous program improvements. You will be ultimately responsible for maintaining and increasing the efficiency of Optimum Experiences.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Minimum Cert 4 in Outdoor Leadership
- Diploma in Leadership and Business Management
- Current Wilderness/remote First Aid _and CPR_
- Current NSW Working with Children's Check
- Light Rigid License (preferred)
- Ropes Access experience, IRATA (preferred)
- Manual Drivers license
- Proven skills building strong and collaborative relationships
- A passion for outdoor education and the benefit it brings to young Australians
- Flexible, adaptable, and creative, able to problem solve and think constructively with a solution focussed mindset
- Experienced and effective at communicating across teams and departments in a manner that supports effective feedback and reporting

**Duties and Responsibilites**
- Works closely with the Logistics Manager, Program Coordinator. To determine the logístical support necessary for each program.
- Improving WHS and risk assessments across all aspects of Optimum Experiences
- Liaise with clients to ensure on-ground delivery consistently meets expected delivery agreements
- Implement real time changes (within program design framework and budget) required to meet program outcomes
- Work with the client and as part of a delivery team to provide excellent program delivery through rigorous planning
- Provide inspirational leadership to the team to inspire them to delivery exceptional program delivery
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of programs.
- Oversee the roster for staff to ensure that they receive proper rest and time for recuperation, in line with the budget and budgeted hours.
- Ensure the programs for each client are compliant with Optimum Experiences policies and procedures.
- Implementing innovation and change to company policy and procedures
- Oversee programs are managed to meet the needs of the clients within the confines of the staff capabilities and the budget.
- Oversee logístical and service tasks between venues
- Ordering and acquisition of new equipment
- Overseeing correct storage of equipment and activities
- Oversee asset management data entry and recording
- Staff training and wellbeing

- Salary: $80,000 - $92,000 per year

Pay: $80,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year

- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- WILDES MEADOW, NSW 2577: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
