Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to support our newly qualified, international staff members in joining our team.
This role ensures that new staff feel supported and are able to thrive within their working environment. You will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and implementing orientation programs as well as additional support plans that may be required.
Main Duties:
* Be up-to-date with the preceptor program of support and education and understand the assessment process for post-registration practitioners.
* Work with senior staff and assessors to ensure all learners and newly qualified practitioners receive a robust induction and orientation to placement areas.
* Collaborate with the Head of Education to ensure a consistent approach to post-registration education across the organisation.
* Contribute to the development of policies and guidelines applicable to the placements of post-registration preceptor practitioners.
* Provide leadership for all members of the team, acting as a role model, leading, and promoting appropriate care.
