This includes working with relevant service systems to respond appropriately to mental health and developmental needs.Providing high-standard assessments, psychological, counselling, and therapeutic interventionsOpportunities to run group programsLiaising and working with internal and external stakeholdersThe Senior Mental Health Clinician will oversee clinical escalation pathways and provide supervision to a small team of clinicians.Requirements:Must have one of the following: General AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, or Mental Health Nurse; or AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social WorkerAdvanced knowledge and skills for contemporary clinical practice within a continuum of careStrong judgment and evaluation skills with understanding of assessment and care planningExtensive experience providing clinical services to young people (12-25 years) preferredUnderstanding of public, non-government, and private mental health systems and related community programsInterpersonal skills demonstrating sensitivity and ability to work with individuals at risk of or experiencing mental illnessAbility to work creatively, collaboratively, and effectively as part of a teamStrong organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks under pressureExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSupport the Clinical Manager in coordinating multidisciplinary team processes within a strengths-based, trauma-informed frameworkMust hold or be willing to apply for a Blue Card and NDIS worker screening clearanceStride is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable people.
