Southern Engineering is seeking a **CNC Brake Press Machine Operator **to join our team at our Ballarat workshop.
Southern Engineering is a parts manufacturing company that supplies laser cut and folded parts to a broad range of manufacturing companies.
**Reporting to the Production Co-Ordinator, the role will be responsible for**:
- Operating our CNC Brake Press machine.
- Running our sheet metal CNC Laser Cutting machine when required.
- Reading and interpreting Engineering drawings.
- Sorting and checking off parts.
- Parts cleanup and Sanding.
- Loading and unloading of trucks.
- General maintenance of the machines.
- Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

- Self-Motivated.
**To be considered for this position you will need to possess the following Pre-requisites**:
- Current driver's license.
- Sheet metal experience is a Great advantage.
- Ability to read CAD drawings.
- Forklift license is an advantage.
- Physically fit and hardworking.
- The ability to use your own initiative.
- Able to work safely and efficiently.
