Senior Vlocity / Salesforce Developer
Overview
A leading government program is seeking an experienced Senior Vlocity/Salesforce Developer to join a high‐performing digital delivery team. In this role, you will help shape innovative Salesforce-based solutions that support the delivery of essential services to Australians. You will work within an Agile, product‐focused environment, contributing to impactful, modern ICT platforms that improve participant and stakeholder outcomes.
This position offers the opportunity to bring deep Salesforce and Vlocity expertise to a collaborative team delivering complex, high‐value digital capabilities.
Role Responsibilities
* Design, build, and enhance solutions on the Salesforce Vlocity (OmniStudio) platform (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Omniscripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors)
* Apply strong Object‐Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns to develop scalable, maintainable applications
* Build and maintain integrations including REST APIs, Platform Events, and related integration workflows
* Utilise Salesforce best practice across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community/Experience Cloud, and Health Cloud
* Contribute to high‐quality, package‐based development practices using Git‐based source control
* Collaborate closely with scrum teams, business stakeholders, and technical leads to deliver user‐centred, robust solutions
* Support development standards, peer reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
* Demonstrated hands‐on experience with the Salesforce Vlocity/OmniStudio suite (Apex, LWC, Omniscripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures)
* Strong OOP background with proven understanding of enterprise design patterns
* Experience delivering integrations using REST APIs and event‐driven architectures
* Salesforce certifications including Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, OmniStudio Developer
* Track record implementing solutions across multiple Salesforce Clouds
* Proficiency with Git‐based source control and package‐based development
Desirable Skills
* Familiarity with Jira, VSCode, and DevOps practices including CI/CD and automated testing
* Experience delivering multiple Salesforce CRM projects in Agile environments
* Understanding of modern accessibility standards and inclusive design
* Exposure to automated deployment pipelines and release frameworks
Preferred Background
* Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience

Casual Loading
