We are seeking a dedicated Electrical & Overhead Construction Manager to lead our project teams through the full construction lifecycle by planning, scheduling, and tracking project plans to completion.
The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director and Operations Manager, you will lead our field crews to exceed project delivery standards. You will act as the pivotal bridge between management and the site, ensuring all Western Power network standards and safety protocols are met.
Key Responsibilities
* Team Leadership: Manage the daily planning and deployment of Switching Operators, Cable Jointers, Electricians, and Line Crews.
* Operational Oversight: Conduct pre-start meetings, monitor site progress against agreed programs, and act as the focal point for site problem resolution.
* Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to Western Power's Life Support Equipment Customer process and ensure all "As Constructed Plans" and site documentation are signed off.
* Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks, develop contingency plans, and ensure all work meets quality standards.

Requirements
* Network Expertise: Proven experience in the construction, maintenance, and dismantling of the Western Power O/H network.
* Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Western Australian electrical utility and industrial marketplace.
* Regulatory Skills: Working knowledge of OH&S and Environmental laws and statutory requirements.
