About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Project Manager to deliver end-to-end building and construction projects within a government environment.
This role plays a key part in supporting industry capability through the provision of high-quality project management services, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and manage all phases of project delivery including pre-design, design, documentation, contract administration, and post-construction activities
* Oversee project teams, consultants, contractors & internal stakeholders
* Manage contracts across traditional and non-traditional delivery methods
* Ensure projects meet scope, time, cost, cash flow, and quality requirements
* Maintain strong day-to-day stakeholder engagement with clients and project teams
* Lead negotiations with consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders to deliver value-for-money outcomes
* Monitor project performance, manage risks and variances and prepare reporting as required
* Support financial management activities including fee estimation and client billing processes
* Ensure quality assurance procedures and compliance standards are consistently met
About You
* Demonstrated experience managing building or construction projects end-to-end
* Experience working within client-side construction, government, or highly regulated environments
* Strong contract administration and stakeholder engagement experience
* Ability to coordinate multiple project streams and manage competing priorities
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or similar (highly regarded)
