About the role
This full-time Account Manager role at Exponet is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and rapidly growing exhibition and events company. Based in Brisbane, you will be responsible for managing key client relationships and accounts for Exponet. This is a critical role that will impact the strategic direction and commercial success of the business.
What you'll be doing
* Develop and maintain strong, consultative relationships with key clients to drive growth and retention
* Manage the full client lifecycle, from prospecting and pitching to contract negotiation and account management
* Responsible for managing all existing clients, identifying and developing new business
* Opportunities for achieving agreed sales budgets.
* Sourcing and managing new business and new clients from exhibitions and other events avenues.
* Ensure profitable and cost-effective quotations and proposals are completed
* accurately and on time, meeting all client needs.
* Responsible for liaising with Account Coordinators, Project Managers, Operations, and event organisers to ensure client and exhibition requirements are met.
* Provide input intothe budget process for exhibitions & develop technical expertise in Exponet products and services
* Contribute to the overall culture of Exponet by understanding and behaving in line with with the company culture and values statements.
* Identify new business opportunities and lead the sales process to secure new clients and projects.
* Collaborate with the wider Exponet team to deliver exceptional service and optimise the client experience.
* Provide regular reporting and analysis on account performance and strategic recommendations.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of sales and marketing
* What we're looking for
o Minimum 3 years' experience in a B2B sales, event management or Account management role, preferably in the events, exhibitions or related industries
o Proven track record of building and maintaining long-term client relationships and driving revenue growth
o Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients at all levels
o Strong commercial acumen and the capacity to understand complex client needs and deliver tailored solutions
o Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
o A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. business, marketing, events) is desirable.
