We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Architect or Architecture Graduate (5+ years’ experience) to join our close-knit team in Mermaid Beach, Gold Coast. This is permanent, full-time, studio-based work where your contributions matter directly to the outcome.
You will work on high-end residential projects from concept through to completion, ensuring design intent is carried consistently through documentation, approvals and construction, meeting the client's brief and adhering to relevant authority codes and standards.
The ideal candidate for this role values good design and possesses a positive, proactive approach - always open to sharing ideas, learning from others and contributing to a supportive environment.
Required Skills & Experience
Degree in Architecture (Registered Architect or Architecture Graduate actively working toward registration)
Minimum 5 years’ experience in design, documentation, detailing, and construction of high-end residential projects in Australia.
Genuine passion for Residential Architecture.
Advanced Archicad modelling and documentation skills (essential).
Strong hand-drawing skills - we often communicate design intent through sketches, not quick renders.
Meticulous attention to detail and clear communication (written and verbal).
The ability to think critically about design decisions in a team environment.
Experience working collaboratively with clients, builders and trades.
Demonstrated end-to-end project delivery.
Comfortable balancing architectural intent with planning requirements, buildability and cost management.
Highly organised with strong time management.
Strong multi-tasking and adaptability skills, ready to jump between projects with ease whilst keeping the team informed and aligned.
The Studio
Our studio is centrally located in Mermaid Beach, Gold Coast. It is a light-filled, open-plan workspace within walking distance of the beach, along with many great cafés and restaurants.
The office is conveniently positioned with a bus stop and future light rail station nearby, providing easy public transport access, as well as ample parking in the surrounding area.
