**Who are we looking for?**
We are seeking a Marketing Manager to join Marketing and Communication, Chancellery Division.
We seek an experienced professional to lead and manage the strategic marketing and communication for the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) program. The Marketing Manager is a key liaison between the Continuing Professional Education portfolio, faculties and the Marketing and Communication Department. The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing marketing campaigns and coordinating the full range of communication activities aimed at supporting the university in achieving its recruitment goals.

**About the area**
- Marketing and Communication sits within the Chancellery Division and is responsible for strategy, including Indigenous strategy, government relations and policy, assurance and risk, international, marketing and communications, and business development. The Chancellery Division is led by the Vice-Chancellor and President.
**About the Department**
The Marketing and Communication Department is responsible for:
- Building and protecting QUT's brand and reputation
- Engaging and recruiting future students
- Ensuring communications from QUT are effective and of high professional standard.
As well as professional services provided to the university community, the Department is responsible for a variety of corporate communication functions and oversees relevant policies, protocols and governance arrangements..
**What you need to succeed**
- Education, training and/or experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications with extensive relevant experience in marketing or a related discipline. Experience in the qualified services sector will be highly regarded.
- Proven leadership in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of strategic marketing plans, marketing and communication activities including lead generation campaigns.
- Demonstrated initiative to conceptualise and implement creative marketing solutions. Expertise in the effective use of social media, digital marketing and Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems for marketing campaigns.
- Proven ability to think creatively and strategically in developing future-focused service delivery.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in negotiation, presentation and liaising with internal and external stakeholders at a senior level. Proven ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Strong written communication skills, with a proven ability to develop targeted messages for translation across web, advertising, print and digital channels and client proposals.
