We have an exciting casual opportunity available for a Vegetation Management Field Team Member based in Rockhampton.
This fully field‐based role requires resilience and a positive attitude towards working in a variety of weather conditions.
Responsibilities
You'll work on a variety of land conservation projects, including chemical spraying of roadsides and protected areas, as well as weed control, revegetation planting, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications
* Certificate in Conservation and Ecosystem Management, or similar (highly regarded but not essential)
* Experience or interest in identifying native flora and invasive species
* Agricultural Chemical Distribution Control (ACDC) Accreditation
* Relevant tickets or experience operating and maintaining equipment such as mowers, chainsaws, and brush‐cutters
* General Construction Induction Card (White Card) – essential
* Ability to pass a police check and regular drug and alcohol screening – essential
* Mature attitude, responsible and able to work unsupervised – essential
* Physically fit and willing to undertake labour‐intensive work – essential
* Reliable, hardworking and committed to a strong safety culture – essential
