The Role
You will provide high-quality General Practice services to the community while contributing to the academic mission of the organisation.
Key Aspects Of The Role Include
* Comprehensive General Practice care within an integrated healthcare setting
* Supervision and mentoring of GP Registrars, medical students and Doctors in Training
* Accurate documentation and maintenance of electronic medical records
* Participation in quality assurance, peer review and clinical audit activities
* Engagement in research collaboration and primary care projects (depending on interest)
* Representation of Macquarie University Health at relevant professional forums
You will also have opportunities to engage with external organisations including Local Health Districts, Sydney North Health Network, Primary Health Networks, GP Synergy and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Key Accountabilities
* Deliver high-quality, patient-centred clinical care
* Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
* Maintain accurate and compliant medical records
* Supervise and mentor GP registrars and trainees in line with university and RACGP standards
* Contribute to quality improvement and risk management initiatives
* Participate in annual performance development processes
Selection Criteria
* Current registration as a Specialist General Practitioner in Australia
* Fellowship of the RACGP (FRACGP) or equivalent
* Demonstrated experience as a General Practitioner
* Commitment to teaching, supervision and academic engagement
