What you'll contribute to
As a Repair Authorisation Consultant, you will lead the management and administration of the national repairs and maintenance department, resulting in the generation of profit outcomes, whilst ensuring OH&S repair obligations are met for vehicles under management.
How you'll make an impact
* Provide effective service & repair cost control for light vehicle fleet, utilising trade-based skills in negotiation with vehicle repairers and tyre suppliers nationally.
* Ensure all fleet vehicles comply with relevant legal, roadworthy, OH&S and company requirements
* Ensure all data keyed into the fleet management system is detailed and without error
* Manage vehicles awaiting quotes for repairs to minimise delays to ensure timely return into operation
* Provide fleet sales staff and customers with all relevant information and documentation as required
* Ensure all relevant customer authorisations and approvals are sought as required and recorded
* Respond to email correspondence promptly as required
* Process ad-hoc fleet invoices as required
* Collaborate with other team members to resolve customer & supplier disputes
Required Skills
* Qualified Motor Mechanic – essential
* Minimum 5 years experience working across light vehicles.
* Experience coordinating with customers and internal/external stakeholders.
* Intermediate literary, numeracy and data entry skills
* Ability to make decisions and work unsupervised
* Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
