The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) A/B will work in an integrated role as a member of the HIP Continence service. The CNC A/B is responsible and accountable for providing a high standard of clinical nursing care to support effective management of patients with continence issues including bowel and/or bladder dysfunction. The CNC A/B works in collaboration with the multidisciplinary continence team including medical staff, nursing staff, physiotherapists and dietitian providing support to patients via phone and centre-based appointments.
About the role
An exciting permanent part time opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and experienced CNC A/B to provide expert assessment and treatment service to clients with continence issues to support them living at home.
The position will contribute to the overall Health Independence Program (HIP) objective - to support HIP eligible people to remain living at home and to prevent unnecessary representation to the Emergency Department or admission to Austin Health.
