Catherine McAuley Catholic College, a leading learning community, is seeking an experienced Teacher Librarian to spearhead the development of engaging learning experiences and manage the library's information and resources.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the school's leadership team, the CSO Digital Innovation and Learning team, and classroom teachers to enhance curriculum delivery.
* Develop and deliver innovative learning programs for students.
* Manage the library's collection, ensuring that it remains relevant and accessible to students and staff.
* Collaborate with teachers to integrate technology and inquiry-based learning into the curriculum.
* Work collaboratively with the school's leadership team to drive change and build teacher capacity to improve student outcomes.
* Utilize data to assess and provide feedback, optimizing educational outcomes and providing an engaging physical and virtual collection.
Key Qualifications
* Clear understanding of Catholic Education and commitment to the Catholic Church's mission.
* Successful teaching and behaviour-management strategies and ability to plan and evaluate innovative learning opportunities.
* Ability to share best practice regarding emerging technologies and information literacy through the KLAs.
* Ability to manage a contemporary library space and oversee library personnel, volunteers, and external providers.
