We are looking for experienced tax professionals to become an integrated part of our team, including high-quality Tax Managers with 4-8 years of professional services or industry experience.This is a hybrid position and can be performed from any of our EY offices across Australia, including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Perth.

Please speak with us about potential options.Your key responsibilitiesCollaborate with the leadership team to coordinate and manage taxation services for an allocated book of corporate clients, overseeing day-to-day operations, corporate income tax compliance, and the preparation and review of income tax returns and tax accounting calculations.Deliver a full spectrum of corporate taxation advisory services tailored to client needs, supporting senior team members in complex tax engagements, including ATO risk reviews, audits, and ruling applications, backed by Australia's top tax technicians.Serve as a key point of contact for our clients, collaborating with specialist teams in areas such as international tax, transfer pricing, tax controversy, and transactions.Supervise and mentor team members, including senior consultants, consultants, and graduates, fostering their career development and contributing to a positive team culture that promotes high performance, collaboration, and success.What we look forTo be considered for this role you must haveDetailed knowledge and experience with the Australian taxation system, gained through work in a professional services firm or comparable industry role, including expertise in corporate income tax compliance calculations, processes, and ATO lodgement obligations.Strong communication skills and confidence in leading client engagements on substantive tax matters, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in all interactions.A CA qualification or equivalent, or completed postgraduate studies (e.g., Tax Masters).
Technical knowledge of IFRS and Tax Accounting is an advantage but not essential.Ideally, you'll also have the skills and attributes below, but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes.
