Job Title: Social Support Coordinator
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Social Support Coordinator to join our team. This is a critical role that requires someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable families.
This position involves working closely with families to identify and address their needs, providing intensive support interventions and engagement with specialist services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with families, developing case plans and goals, and implementing strategies to promote child safety and well-being.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A university degree in human services or a related field; current enrolment is also accepted.
* Working knowledge of domestic violence issues and the challenges faced by families at risk of entering the child protection system.
* Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with families.
* Effective written communication skills, including the capacity to conduct assessments and develop evidence-based rationales.
