The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Senior Workplace Relations Business Partner to join our People, Leadership & Culture team and play a key role across Catholic Education SA, working closely with leaders to provide clear, expert guidance and help shape a positive, consistent and compliant workplace culture.


Role Summary

* $166,330 base
* Full‑time, permanent role

You’ll Have The Chance To

* Provide high‑level employment and industrial relations advice.
* Support leaders with complex and sensitive employee matters.
* Contribute to enterprise agreement negotiations and other industrial initiatives.
* Represent CESA in industrial forums and hearings, supported by our legal provider.
* Lead reviews, audits and compliance activities to ensure strong, system‑wide workplace practices.
* Develop clear, future‑focused policies, procedures and resources.

About You

You’re someone who combines industrial relations knowledge with a balanced, people‑centered approach. You enjoy partnering with leaders, navigating complexity with clarity and confidence, and providing grounded advice that supports good decision‑making.


You Will Bring

* Extensive experience in industrial relations, grievance management and dispute resolution.
* Strong capability interpreting legislation, industrial instruments and regulatory requirements.
* Experience working with employee representatives, including in negotiation settings.
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with the confidence to advise senior stakeholders.
* Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and sound judgement.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in industrial relations, law, HR or a similar field.
