About the Role
The Senior HVAC Technician will play a key role in the delivery of HVAC installations, servicing, and maintenance works across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will remain hands-on while providing guidance, technical support, and direction to technicians and apprentices, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibility and is ideal for someone ready to take ownership of site outcomes and team performance.

What Will You Be Doing?
Install, commission, service, and maintain a wide range of HVAC systems
Diagnose faults and carry out maintenance and repair works efficiently
Lead by example on site, supporting technicians and apprentices
Provide technical guidance and on-the-job mentoring
Ensure all works comply with WHS, environmental, and industry standards
Coordinate daily site activities and job priorities
Communicate progress updates to management and clients
Maintain accurate service records, job documentation, and compliance paperwork
Deliver professional customer service and represent the business positively on site
What Do You Need?
Trade qualification as an HVAC Technician or similar
Strong experience across residential and commercial HVAC systems
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support junior team members
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work autonomously while contributing to team outcomes
Licences and Compliance
Current HVAC licence
Refrigerant handling licence and EPA compliance
Valid WHS credentials and safety training
