About Sunrise
Sunrise Health Service provides culturally safe, community-controlled primary health care to nine remote communities east of Katherine, supporting a predominantly Aboriginal population of approximately 3,800 people. Many community members live with chronic and complex health conditions, making strong corporate systems critical to frontline service delivery.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Executive Manager, Corporate Services plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth, compliant, and strategic operation of the organisation’s corporate functions. This is a broad, influential leadership role overseeing and integrating corporate services across:
* Finance & Payroll
* Supply Chain, Fleet, Assets & Stores
* Corporate Projects & Compliance
You will lead service centralisation, strengthen systems and controls, drive continuous improvement, and ensure corporate services enable — not hinder — exceptional healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high‑level strategic and operational advice to the CEO and COO
* Lead business planning, budgeting, financial management, and reporting
* Oversee compliance, risk management, QA frameworks, and funding obligations
* Drive continuous improvement across corporate systems and processes
* Lead, develop, and mentor a diverse multidisciplinary corporate services team
* Support organisational strategy through strong governance, systems, and controls
* Represent Sunrise in negotiations, forums, and stakeholder engagements
About You
You are a confident executive leader with a strong finance and corporate services background, who thrives in complex, purpose‑driven environments.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience leading multiple corporate or business support functions
* Senior leadership experience in not‑for‑profit, Aboriginal organisations, or complex service environments
* Strong commercial and financial acumen with a focus on efficiency and value
* Demonstrated ability to lead change, improve systems, and manage risk
* A customer‑centric mindset with a collaborative leadership style
* High emotional intelligence and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
* Tertiary qualifications in business (or a related discipline) are required, along with eligibility to work in the NT and meet relevant compliance requirements.
