Steamatic is Australia's longest established and largest restoration company with over 40 locations throughout Australia and growing each year. We are now looking for a restoration technician to join our dedicated team as a Team Leader/Supervisor as we continue to invest and grow our Regional South Australia branch. Our branch operates in the following areas, Eyre Peninsula, Yorke Peninsula, Far North, Mid North, Clare Valley into parts of the Barossa and Riverland.

About the role

Our Restoration teams perform mould remediation, water damage, specialised cleaning and restoration tasks in residential and commercial buildings including assessment of damage to property and contents, removal and inventorying of contents, cleaning and mitigation of the damage, and specialised restoration services that includes remediation of water, mould, fire, odour, and other damage.

We are seeking applicants who are experienced self starters, accountable, enthusiastic and willing to show leadership in the development of our people, systems and processes in this hands on role. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to advance their career and help build the team and business. Due to the nature of the business travel is a major component, some overnight stays are also required however this will attract extra benefits in line with industry standards.

All Operations employees are required to participate in the on call and after hours roster.

Skills and experience

* Exceptional customer service with previous supervisory or team leader experience
* Experience in building, carpentry, cabinet making or handyman services beneficial
* Experience in specialised cleaning services beneficial
* Formal IICRC training and accreditation ideal but not essential (will be provided)
* Competent in use of technology, iPad, job management & inventory systems
* Good literacy and numeracy skills for detailed job notes
* Work Ethic, Common Sense, Physically Fit
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate, and lead small team's
* Building industry experience beneficial
* Drivers licence essential
* EWP beneficial however can be obtained on commencement
* Police check and working with children required
* Must have Construction Induction however can be obtained on commencement
* Take pride in your work and being able to work autonomously and as part of a team
