Process Engineer
Are you an experienced Process Engineer with a background in Water, Resources and Defence? Do you want to expand your professional horizons by working on various projects across diverse industries?
Our team is looking for a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our Engineering department in Adelaide. As part of the Water, Environment and Industrial Group, you will be responsible for delivering process engineering activities on projects involving wastewater treatment, potable water treatment, chemical dosing, odour control, venting, flaring, pumping and piping, pipelines, compression and similar.
As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with mechanical, structural, hydraulic, civil and electrical engineers to ensure project objectives are met within specified timelines and budgets.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing process engineering designs and analyses for projects across Water, Defence and Energy sectors.
* Implementing process simulations and models to optimize plant performance and efficiency.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and proposals for clients.
* Conducting feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed projects.
* Providing technical guidance and expertise to junior engineers and project teams.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant Australian standards and regulations.
* Identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in process engineering within Water/Defence projects.
* Knowledge of Australian standards and regulations pertaining to process engineering.
* Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Biowin, Aspen HYSYS, PHAST).
* Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
* Current Baseline Clearance or ability to obtain Defence clearance.
