About the Position
We seek a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our Portland Aluminium team.
The ideal candidate maximizes maintenance effectiveness and efficiency by planning all scheduled activities prior to job commencement, safely integrating manufacturing and financial requirements into an effective Maintenance Plan.
The planner strives to continuously improve productivity and work quality by anticipating potential delays through effective planning and co-ordination, including:
* Developing weekly plans and facilitating planning meetings in line with standardized processes.
* Supporting daily planning and making information available for successful work execution.
* Ensuring people, parts and processes are available for maintenance activities in a timely manner.
* Contributing to maintenance efficiency by participating in reviews of major activities and seeking improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Applying problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve equipment/process-related problems.
* Directing planned outages and performance improvement programs.
* Oversight of Powerhouse Mechanical Maintenance Crews.
