Job Description
About The Role
We're looking for an experiencedElectrical and Instrumentation Technicianto join ourChlor Alkali Plantbased inKwinana, WAon aPermanent Full-Time basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Fault finding and day-to-day maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems, including regular safety testing (e.g. IPF, proof, interlocks, etc.)
* Develop, review, and carry out high voltage isolations
* Liaise with suppliers to establish and order electrical equipment as required
* Ensure compliance with hazardous area requirements onsite (e.g. dossier control, maintaining records, providing technical assistance, etc.)
* Complete all documentation related to maintenance activities accurately and in a timely manner
The Successful Candidate Will Have
* A current WA A Grade Electrical Licence
* A Certificate IV in Instrumentation (highly desirable)
* Qualifications in Hazardous Areas and HV Switching (desirable)
* Strong technical troubleshooting abilities
* The capability to work independently within a close-knit team
* A high level of professionalism and commitment to quality work
