About the Role
The Public Domain Designer plays a key planning role in shaping the Inner West's streets, plazas and public spaces to support vibrant, inclusive and sustainable communities.
The successful applicant will play a key role in designing for the community by providing advice on a wide range of street‐oriented projects, including strategic planning and place‐based frameworks that guide concept design and main street master plan solutions. The role supports the delivery of high‐quality, people‐focused outcomes by integrating social, recreational and environmental priorities into the design of public spaces.
Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, the role provides professional advice on public domain planning matters, contributes to policy and strategy development, and partners with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver innovative and integrated design solutions. It also supports project delivery, including coordination with consultants, development of plans and cost inputs, and navigation of relevant planning frameworks and legislative requirements.
This position is located at St Peters Depot.
Remuneration
$109,977.92 - $125,769.28 + 12% Superannuation
