Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. This role involves overseeing financial administration, managing payroll, accounts receivable and payable, maintaining staff records, and coordinating with accountants for tax submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process payroll accurately and on time
* Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely payments
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff records
* Coordinate with accountants for BAS submissions
Requirements:
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software
* At least 2 years of experience in accounts management
* Trade or service-based business experience is beneficial
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
* Degree in Accounting or related field
* Knowledge of BAS and tax compliance requirements
