I am currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Family Lawyer to join the growing Brisbane office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent law graduate or someone with a few years of experience to gain valuable exposure to all aspects of family law.
Responsibilities:
* Assist senior lawyers with a range of family law matters, including divorce, separation, child custody, property division, and spousal maintenance.
* Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and draft correspondence.
* Attend client meetings, take instructions, and provide legal advice.
* Liaise with clients to keep them informed of the progress of their case.
* Assist with preparation for court appearances (as your experience grows).
* Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Skills and experience:
* Admitted to practice law in Queensland.
* Strong academic record in law.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Highly motivated and results-oriented.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Empathy and understanding of the sensitivities involved in family law matters.
