Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient-centred, evidence-informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
POD 4 comprises Obs & Gynae, Urology, Melanoma, Paediatrics and Patient reception specialties.
Qualifications
* Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* Must have Australian Working Rights
* The POD has high acuity and emergency situations; applicant must have the skill to make quick and sound decisions and able to adjust and change to the different/difficult situations that arise.
* Applicant must have at least 3 years scrub/scout experience.
* Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems.
* Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills within a multidisciplinary team.
