Deputy Principal Engineer
Are you a motivated and experienced professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Principal Engineer to join our team on a contract basis.
This role involves managing the SPO Engineering Management System framework and documents, ensuring alignment with both Engineering and Technical (E&T) domain policies and the RAN Seaworthiness policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and deliver required PE reporting obligations to DGENG-N.
* Ensure AEO internal delegations and delegation registers are managed and maintained.
* Lead and manage the SPO's transition into a Seaworthiness AMSDO framework.
* Support continuous development and professional improvement for SPO engineering through Quarterly PE forums.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
We require a minimum of eight years relevant experience in engineering management and/or design/maintenance within a quality framework, specifically acting in a senior engineering role. You must also hold AGSVA Security clearance and eligibility for Chartered Professional Engineer status with IEAust or equivalent in a relevant engineering stream.
