SafeDig Services (part of the Southern Cross Industrial Group) are a well established hydro excavation company with locations in Sumner and Yatala. We provide non-destructive digging services to local and state government throughout Queensland. In addition, we offer CCTV ground exploration services alongside our hydrovac operations.
As our dynamic business continues to flourish, we are seeking multiple Hydro Excavac Operators to join our team.

About the role
- Responsible for completing vacuum excavation works around Brisbane region
- Inspect job site for any safety concerns or hazards including traffic management requirements
- Ensure plant and machinery are in good working condition at all times by performing pre and post trip inspections
- Understand Safety and PPE requirements and be able to work safely at all times
- You will be expected to complete relevant paperwork for your jobs
- Drive trucks safely to and from work sites
- Must manage time effectively
- Able to work extended hours as needed
- Able to travel when needed – accommodation will be provided
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test
- This role is 10% driving and 90% hands on manual work, must be fit and willing to do manual work

- Current MR/HR Driver’s licence with positive driving record
