Requirements of the Role include (but not limited to) The position is a pivotal role in supporting the client ambition to strengthen Queensland’s building and construction industry by providing a high level of leadership in the delivery of project management consulting services. Coordinating and managing all aspects of building project implementation activities including pre-design, design, documentation, contract administration and post construction activities and assisting in taking responsibility for the quality and suitability of the building product delivered to the client. Coordinating the activities of other project staff, external consultants, building contractors, managers and other business units in the achievement of project objectives. Ensuring individual project team members (external or the client's Staff) involved in the provision of pre- design, documentation, contract administration, and post construction services to clients are engaged, communicated with and coordinated effectively. Controlling variances by generating exception reports on time and cost aspects of projects management and performing project audits to establish project team performance as appropriate. Ensuring all quality assurance procedures within the work area are followed. Mentoring a team of Project Managers and other staff. Proactively manage the work performance and personal conduct of your staff.
