The Role
This is a senior field sales position responsible for managing and growing PABT's presence across the Pilbara and Murchison mining regions. You'll be working a well-established territory with existing accounts that need nurturing, alongside genuine greenfield and brownfield opportunities in one of the highest-value mining corridors in the country.
You'll be the face of PABT on the ground, building relationships at site level, identifying opportunities, and converting them. You'll have the full weight of PABT's engineering, application, and commercial support behind you, but this role rewards autonomy, self-motivation, and people who know how to open doors.
The position can be based in Perth or regionally, what matters is that you're in front of the right people, regularly.
This is NOT an office position. You will be required to travel to site consistently and be the boots on the ground for the region.
What You'll Be Doing
* Managing and growing a portfolio of existing mining accounts across the Pilbara and Murchison
* Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the territory
* Conducting site visits, application reviews, and technical discussions with maintenance, engineering, and procurement stakeholders
* Preparing and presenting proposals, commercial offers, and performance trials
* Reporting pipeline activity and territory performance to the WA/ SEA Sales Manager
* Representing PABT at industry events and customer meetings across the region
What We're Looking For
* Proven mining industry sales experience with an established network across the Pilbara and/or Murchison
* Strong commercial acumen and a track record of winning and growing accounts
* Self-driven, comfortable operating independently in a large territory
* Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to site regularly
Highly Preferred
* Experience selling slurry pumps or rotating equipment into mining
* Background in plant equipment, processing equipment, or wear parts
Preferred
* Pump application knowledge (slurry, centrifugal, high-chrome)
* Existing relationships with key Pilbara operators (Rio Tinto, BHP, FMG, Roy Hill or similar)
