Job Description:
The Practice Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the firm's growth and development.
This key member of the leadership team will take ownership of day-to-day operations, people leadership, financial processes, and compliance.
1. Operations & Continuous Improvement
* Ensure efficient practice management with minimal disruption
* Maintain and improve workflows, internal procedures, and LEAP usage
* Monitor matter progress, deadlines, and task management
* Identify inefficiencies and implement practical improvements
2. Financial & Reporting Oversight
* Oversee billing, WIP, aged debtors, and monthly reporting
* Manage accounts receivable, payable, and payroll
* Daily trust account reconciliation and compliance
* Prepare P&L, BAS, budgeting, and forecasting reports for Partners
3. People Leadership
* Lead, support, and develop the team to perform at their best
* Manage recruitment coordination, onboarding, and HR administration
* Supervise trainees and virtual assistants
4. Compliance & Risk
* Ensure compliance with NSW legal, trust accounting, WHS, and privacy requirements
* Maintain up-to-date procedures and policies
5. Client Experience & Business Support
* Maintain high client service standards across all matters
* Oversee consistent communication and service delivery
