Why is this Site Manager role for you? You’re an experienced Site Manager who’s fed up with inheriting distressed projects that are behind schedule, under-resourced and where the subbies aren’t being paid. It’s a constant headache that you don’t need. You know there are better companies out there. Quality builders who pay well, on time and their clients come back to them over and over. This role is with one of them. You’ll be delivering a brand new project, converting an old Bunnings store into a Woolworths. Around 30% of the project is new build, with the remaining works involving refurbishment and significant services installation. You’ll be well supported by a Senior Project Manager and Senior Contract Administrator who are long-term employees, along with two Foremen and a Leading Hand reporting to you on-site. Access to the site is straightforward, and you’ll be involved from day one, giving you the chance to set the project up properly and run the site the way it should be run. You’ll be the main decision-maker on site. The salary range sits between $200k–$240k, and assuming the project runs well, you’ll also be in line for a solid bonus when the project completes next September.
