We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to join our passionate nursing educational team as a part-time Associate Lecturer for the Bachelor of Nursing program.
* Deliver high-quality teaching to students on and off campus, ensuring learning outcomes are met.
* Develop and deliver innovative curriculum and teaching pedagogies that utilise current and emerging technologies.
* Undertake marking and assessment tasks, primarily connected with units being delivered.
* Effectively participate as a member of the teaching teams and contribute to the development of educational programs.
* Communicate effectively with students to facilitate their learning and success.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching and Learning:
* Deliver lectures and tutorials to students, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
* Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to evaluate student learning.
2. Curriculum Development:
* Contribute to the development of new and revised curricula for the Bachelor of Nursing program.
* Design and implement innovative teaching pedagogies that utilise current and emerging technologies.
3. Program Participation:
* Participate in program team meetings and contribute to the development of educational programs.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program-wide initiatives.
Requirements
* A relevant qualification or equivalent academic or professional experience.
* Demonstrable knowledge of contemporary developments in nursing or a related field.
* Proven skills in contemporary teaching, learning, and assessment principles.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.

About this Opportunity
This is a fixed-term part-time opportunity available for a period of time based at Southport and Southbank Campuses. The successful candidate will have higher education lecturing or tutoring experience in nursing or a related discipline.
