We have an exciting casual, flexible position for a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our friendly, supportive, and experienced team at Campaspe Family Practice. Located in the heart of Kyneton within the Macedon Ranges, our busy practice offers a range of specialised services close to home.
Responsibilities include:
* Providing excellent customer service as the first point of contact for patients, both in person and on the phone
* Maintaining confidentiality and managing patient records
* Processing payments, Medicare, and third-party claims and reconciliations
* Managing patient appointment types effectively
* Performing general administration and daily office duties
* Carrying out duties as required by Doctors and the Practice Manager
Requirements:
* Professional, friendly, confident, and courteous manner
* High work ethic and flexibility with work hours
* Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritize
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team
* High attention to detail
* Enthusiasm, willingness, and ability to learn and retain information
Proficient computer skills are essential, with knowledge of medical software such as Best Practice being desirable.
